According to Peoria Police, the incident began around 11:25 p.m. Saturday when officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of West Oakcrest Drive after reports of gunfire and multiple victims. First responders attempted lifesaving measures before the teen was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
