Somerset, PA – Snowfall is expected to impact Somerset County through early Friday morning, prompting a Winter Weather Advisory from the National Weather Service (NWS) in State College. The advisory remains in effect until 7 AM EST Friday.
According to the NWS, Somerset County could see 1 to 4 inches of snow, with the highest accumulations occurring along Laurel Ridge in western Somerset County. Roads may become slippery, creating hazardous travel conditions for both the Thursday morning and evening commutes.
