Philadelphia, PA – Monday brings a sunny start for Philadelphia, but showers are expected midweek along major roadways like I-95 and I-76. Commuters should prepare for wet conditions Wednesday and cooler temperatures by Thursday.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday will feature mostly sunny skies with a high near 65 degrees, providing a pleasant start to the workweek. Winds will remain light, and evening temperatures are expected to dip to a clear and cool 42 degrees.

Rain will develop Wednesday with an 80% chance of showers, particularly during the evening hours. Motorists should plan for slower travel along key corridors, including I-95 and I-76, where wet conditions may lead to traffic delays. Highs on Wednesday will reach 66 degrees before dipping to 46 degrees overnight.

Thursday will see lingering rain showers and a drop in temperatures, with highs only reaching 53 degrees. By Friday, conditions will improve with partly sunny skies and a high near 49 degrees, though evening temperatures will stay chilly at around 41 degrees.

Looking ahead to next weekend, Saturday offers partly sunny skies and highs around 51 degrees, giving the city a reprieve from midweek rain.
