Pittsburgh, PA – Western Pennsylvania is set for a bright and sunny weekend after snow showers clear out Friday morning. Residents can look forward to a welcome break from wintry weather before rain moves in late Sunday night into Monday.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday’s snow showers will taper off by midday, leaving behind cloudy skies and a high of 32°F. Roads, including I-376, may remain slick in spots, so drivers should proceed with caution. By Friday night, temperatures will dip to 23°F with mostly cloudy skies and lighter winds.

Saturday ushers in sunshine and calmer conditions, with a high near 34°F and light southwest winds. Saturday night will remain cool but clear, with lows around 30°F, creating a pleasant evening for outdoor plans.

Sunday brings a warm-up, with sunny skies and a high of 48°F, making it an ideal day for outdoor activities. However, clouds will increase Sunday evening as a weather system approaches. Rain is expected to begin after midnight, leading to a 90% chance of showers throughout Monday. Monday’s high will reach 52°F, with steady rain likely to impact the morning commute.

Residents are encouraged to enjoy the mild weekend while preparing for wet conditions early next week. Plan ahead for rain-soaked roads Monday morning and consider carrying an umbrella for the day.
