Philadelphia, PA – Warm sunshine and dry air will dominate the weekend across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and surrounding areas, with highs climbing into the low 80s by Sunday before a shift to wet weather begins Monday night.
According to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, conditions will remain mostly clear and seasonably cool Saturday night, with lows ranging from the mid-40s to mid-50s. Sunday will bring slightly warmer temperatures, dry skies, and lighter winds, making for ideal outdoor conditions across much of the Mid-Atlantic.
Cities like Philadelphia, Trenton, Wilmington, and Atlantic City can expect daytime highs in the upper 70s to low 80s on Sunday. Winds will be calmer than Saturday, easing to a northwest breeze of 5–10 mph. High pressure will continue to suppress any major weather systems through the end of the weekend.
The next chance for rain arrives Monday night, with scattered showers and possible thunderstorms continuing through Wednesday. While the rain could impact the Tuesday morning commute in urban centers, severe weather is not expected at this time.
Residents are encouraged to make the most of the weekend sun but stay alert for changing conditions early next week. Additional updates are likely as the rain system develops.
