Pedestrian Fatally Struck by RV in Nova Scotia

Whycocomagh, NS – A 48-year-old man from Whycocomagh was struck and killed by an RV on Monday evening.

The incident occurred around 5:50 p.m. on Highway 105. According to Inverness County RCMP, the pedestrian was hit by a 2017 Ford Axis traveling eastbound. Emergency responders, including RCMP, fire services, and EHS, arrived shortly after but pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The driver of the RV, an 84-year-old woman from North Vancouver, was uninjured. A collision reconstructionist was called to the scene, and the investigation remains ongoing. Highway 105 was closed for several hours following the collision but has since reopened.
