Huntsville, AL – Motorists across the Tennessee Valley are being urged to exercise caution this morning as patchy dense fog blankets the region, significantly reducing visibility in some areas.
According to the National Weather Service in Huntsville, visibilities have dropped to a quarter-mile or less in isolated locations, creating hazardous driving conditions. The fog is expected to dissipate by 8 a.m.
Drivers are advised to use low beams, reduce speed, and maintain extra distance between vehicles to ensure safety. Updates can be accessed through NOAA Weather Radio or local media outlets.
