Wesley Chapel, FL – Pasco County deputies are investigating a violent domestic-related incident that left two people injured Thursday morning in the Wesley Chapel area.
The incident occurred around 8:37 a.m. on Chesapeake Bay Drive, prompting a response from the Pasco Sheriff’s Office.
According to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, a dispute among individuals who knew each other allegedly escalated, resulting in an adult man stabbing an adult woman. During the altercation, another adult man allegedly shot the male suspect.
Officials said all injured individuals were transported to a local hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Authorities emphasized that the situation appears to be isolated and involved known parties, adding there is no current threat to public safety.
