Palos Park, IL – The Palos Park Police Department is calling on the community to support its 2024 Food Drive. Donations will assist local families in need across the southwest suburban area through January 1, 2025.
Non-perishable food items, including canned and boxed goods, can be dropped off at several locations: the Palos Park Police Department at 8999 W. 123rd Street, the Palos Park Recreation Center, the Palos Park Library, the Metra Station, and the Village Kaptur Administrative Center.
According to the police department, all contributions will benefit local food pantries serving families within the Palos area. Residents needing donation pick-up services can call (708)-671-3771 or email jmiller@palospark.org for assistance.
The initiative offers an opportunity for residents to make a tangible difference during the holiday season. Organizers stress the importance of community support in ensuring no family goes hungry.
