Orland Park, IL – The Orland Memorial Park Cemetery will host a guided tour on Saturday, November 2, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Attendees will explore the final resting place of prominent founding families, including the Humphreys, Loebes, and Myricks.
According to the Village of Orland Park Heritage Sites, the cemetery, established in 1859, preserves the legacy of the town’s earliest settlers. Tour participants will hear stories about these figures and their impact on local history. The event starts at 153rd Street and West Avenue, and guests are encouraged to dress for the weather.
The tour costs $15 for members, $20 for residents, and $25 for non-residents. Only guests aged 16 and older can attend.
