Lane County, OR – A shooting incident on Beacon Rd in has sparked an active investigation by the Lane County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred on August 21, 2024, at approximately 8:50 p.m., when deputies responded to reports of gunfire in the 3000 block of Beacon Rd.
Upon arriving at the scene, deputies found a vehicle with damage consistent with gunfire. However, the suspect had already fled, and no injuries were reported. The Sheriff’s Office has released a photo of a vehicle believed to be connected to the shooting and is asking the public for any information that could lead to the suspect’s identification.
