Tulsa, OK – Residents in Tulsa and parts of eastern Oklahoma should prepare for a slight chance of thunderstorms and lightning today, with showers potentially developing between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The high will reach 84 degrees, with light south winds at 5 to 10 mph. Tonight, a 20% chance of thunderstorms continues after midnight, with a low around 61 degrees and southeast winds remaining steady.

According to the National Weather Service, thunderstorms may bring dangerous lightning overnight into Thursday morning. Despite the storm risk, forecasters indicate that the overall coverage of showers will remain limited. Isolated storms may continue through Thursday morning before moving out of the region by afternoon.

By Friday, conditions will improve with sunny skies and a high near 88 degrees. This pleasant weather is expected to last through the weekend, with Saturday’s high nearing 91 degrees. Calm weather will persist into Sunday, with temperatures peaking at 86 degrees and winds light from the south. As cooler air moves in on Columbus Day, Tulsa will see mostly sunny conditions and a high near 71 degrees, marking a brief dip in temperatures before next week.
