Tulsa, OK – The US National Weather Service has reissued an Excessive Heat Warning and Heat Advisory for Wednesday in Oklahoma. Heat indices are expected to reach over 105°F areawide, with temperatures potentially exceeding 110°F in the warning areas.

According to the US National Weather Service Tulsa office, the warning is in effect from noon to 9 PM on Wednesday. The expected weather includes heat index values up to 113°F in some regions, with a high likelihood of heat-related illnesses due to the extreme temperatures.

Residents are advised to take necessary precautions to stay safe during the excessive heat.
