Cleveland, Ohio – Showers are pushing through Eastern Ohio and into Northwestern Pennsylvania Tuesday evening, bringing pockets of moderate rain and a few rumbles of thunder, especially near Youngstown and Erie. Commuters and evening travelers should plan for slick roads and reduced visibility through midnight.

According to the National Weather Service Cleveland, rain will continue to track eastward through cities including Akron, Canton, and Warren before tapering off after midnight. A brief period of isolated thunder is possible, especially near the Pennsylvania border.

Wet conditions have already moved through Toledo and Findlay, with rainfall now focused on the I-77 and I-80 corridors. While severe weather is not expected, lightning and downpours may disrupt evening activities in Mansfield, Coshocton, and Clarion.

Residents are advised to avoid flooded roadways and delay non-essential travel until conditions improve overnight. Outdoor events should be wrapped up early as lightning remains a possibility in some areas.

Rain chances will diminish after midnight, and dry conditions are expected by daybreak Wednesday. No additional advisories are expected at this time, but updates will follow if storm activity intensifies.
