Wilmington, OH – A shift in weather will bring increased rain chances to Wilmington this week, with scattered showers expected midweek.

According to the National Weather Service, Sunday will start with mostly sunny skies and a high of 42°F, followed by partly cloudy conditions overnight. Monday will remain dry with highs near 49°F, but winds will strengthen, gusting up to 28 mph.

By Monday night, clouds will increase, bringing a slight chance of showers after 1 a.m. Rain chances will rise to 30% on Wednesday afternoon, with temperatures peaking at 55°F. A stronger system could bring a 50% chance of rain Wednesday night into Thursday, keeping conditions damp.

Commuters should prepare for wet roads midweek, especially along State Route 73 and I-71. Residents are advised to check forecasts for updated rainfall totals.
