Cleveland, OH – A Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect for Cleveland and much of northern Ohio through 10 a.m. Monday, as visibility drops below a quarter mile, creating hazardous driving conditions during the morning commute.

According to the National Weather Service in Cleveland, widespread fog has developed overnight and will persist through early morning, especially near Lake Erie and major corridors like I-90, I-71, and I-480. Motorists are urged to slow down, use headlights, and allow extra time.

As fog clears, attention shifts to a strong chance of thunderstorms Monday night into Tuesday. Showers will increase after 2 p.m. Monday, with the chance of thunderstorms rising to 80% overnight. Rainfall could reach up to a half inch by early Tuesday, with brief periods of heavy downpours possible.
