Wilmington, OH – Ohio residents celebrating Veterans Day should prepare for cloudy skies before a clearing trend leads to a cool evening. Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 60 degrees today with increasing clouds. Winds will be from the west at 6 to 15 mph, creating a slight breeze throughout the day.

According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, skies will clear as the evening progresses, and temperatures will dip to an overnight low of 34 degrees. North winds could reach up to 20 mph after midnight, marking the beginning of a chilly night.

Tuesday will usher in mostly sunny skies and a high near 51 degrees, with a gentle northeast wind at 7 to 10 mph. The clear conditions will extend into Tuesday night, where temperatures will drop significantly to a low of 31 degrees.

Residents should brace for a weather shift by Wednesday night, with rain expected after 1 a.m. and continuing through Thursday. The chance of precipitation is high at 80%, potentially leading to wet roadways. Rainfall amounts could range between a tenth and a quarter of an inch.

Looking ahead, Thursday is forecasted to be rainy until early afternoon with a high near 57 degrees. By Friday, partly cloudy conditions are anticipated, with temperatures near 56 degrees and calm winds. This weekend, expect highs in the upper 50s and dry conditions.
