Wilmington, OH – Mild conditions will continue into Wednesday, but a strong weather system will bring gusty winds and rain by Thursday. Residents should prepare for breezy conditions tonight and shifting temperatures through the weekend.
According to the National Weather Service, Wilmington will see a high of 41°F Tuesday with sunshine, followed by a breezy night with lows near 32°F. Winds could gust up to 32 mph. Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high of 42°F before temperatures drop to 25°F overnight.
By Thursday, southwest winds will bring a slight warm-up, reaching 47°F before rain arrives overnight. A 100% chance of precipitation is expected Thursday night into Friday, with totals between a half-inch and three-quarters of an inch. Friday’s high will climb to 54°F with heavy rain expected before tapering off into the evening.
The weekend will see drier but cooler conditions, with mostly sunny skies Saturday and a high of 38°F. Sunday warms up slightly, reaching 52°F under mostly cloudy skies.
Residents should prepare for shifting temperatures and plan ahead for rain-related travel disruptions on Thursday and Friday.
