Pittsburgh, PA – Snow showers will move into western Pennsylvania on Wednesday, with squalls expected along the Interstate 80 corridor. Drivers should prepare for sudden visibility drops and slick road conditions, particularly in the morning and afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service, snow showers will be scattered across the region throughout Wednesday, with gusty winds making travel hazardous. Accumulation is expected to range from 1 to 3 inches, with higher totals possible north of Pittsburgh and into the mountains.

By Wednesday night, skies will begin to clear, but another round of precipitation is forecast for Thursday night into Friday. Rain is expected to develop, with a 90% chance of showers Friday. Temperatures will climb into the upper 40s before colder air returns for the weekend.

Residents should stay updated with local forecasts and prepare for changing conditions. Those traveling along I-80 or higher-elevation areas should use caution, as snow squalls may cause dangerous whiteout conditions.
