Wilmington, OH – Areas of fog are developing across the Ohio Valley this morning, with some regions experiencing locally dense fog. The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a warning for drivers to use low-beam headlights and maintain extra distance between vehicles due to reduced visibility as low as a quarter-mile.

According to the National Weather Service, the fog is expected to be most dense in central Ohio, south-central Ohio, and northeast Kentucky, lasting until 9 a.m. Today’s temperatures will reach a high of 87°F under sunny skies, creating a stark contrast from the morning’s foggy conditions.

The extended forecast shows a warming trend throughout the week. Monday and Tuesday will see highs of 90°F and 89°F, respectively, under clear skies. Wednesday brings a slight chance of showers, with temperatures cooling to a high of 81°F. The rest of the week will continue with sunny to partly cloudy skies, with temperatures ranging from the low 80s to mid-80s.

Residents are advised to remain cautious while driving in foggy conditions and to stay hydrated as temperatures rise. The Ohio Valley will experience a mix of dense fog and high temperatures, marking a dynamic weather pattern for the region this week.
