Fort Wayne, IN – Northern Indiana residents can expect warm and humid conditions to persist through Monday. A cold front accompanied by an area of low pressure will bring increasing chances for showers and storms, mainly from Monday night into Tuesday.

According to the US National Weather Service Northern Indiana, today’s weather will be dry and warm, with highs ranging between 85 to 88 degrees Fahrenheit. Tonight, northern areas will see increasing cloud cover, with lows dropping to 67 to 70 degrees. An isolated shower is possible late tonight in far southern Lower Michigan.

On Monday, a few showers and storms may occur in the afternoon, with highs between 83 and 89 degrees and lows from 62 to 70 degrees. Showers and thunderstorms are expected late Monday night, continuing into Tuesday. Highs on Tuesday will range from 72 to 85 degrees, and lows will be between 56 and 62 degrees.

Locally heavy rainfall and strong gusty winds are possible Monday night into Tuesday, making it essential for residents to stay updated on weather conditions. The Weather Service advises caution and preparedness for potential severe weather as the week progresses.
