CLEVELAND, OH – Northeast Ohio is kicking off the first weekend of spring with a mix of sunshine and scattered showers. After a rainy Thursday, temperatures will warm up on Friday, bringing a dry and pleasant day before rain chances return late Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday will be mostly sunny with a high near 52°F and southwest winds between 7 to 11 mph. The mild and dry conditions will continue into Friday night, with temperatures dipping to around 42°F.

Saturday remains mostly dry, with a high near 47°F, but a chance of showers could develop in the afternoon. Overnight lows will drop to 29°F under partly cloudy skies.

By Sunday, partly sunny conditions will give way to increasing clouds and a 50% chance of rain by the evening. Showers are likely overnight into Monday, with lows around 42°F. Rain chances will persist early next week, with off-and-on showers through Wednesday.

Drivers should be cautious on major roadways like I-90 and I-480, especially Sunday night when wet conditions could impact travel. Residents should enjoy the sunshine on Friday and early Saturday before the next round of spring rain arrives. Keep an umbrella handy for the start of the new week.
