Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania – Residents in eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania can expect scorching temperatures this weekend, with highs nearing 90 degrees. According to the US National Weather Service, clear skies and calm winds will prevail, contributing to the rising temperatures.

The weather service reports that fog is likely to develop between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. on Friday, primarily in areas north of Pittsburgh. This fog will dissipate after sunrise, making way for a warm and sunny day. High-pressure systems are responsible for the current dry conditions, but this pattern will shift early next week.

Saturday and Sunday will continue the trend of warm, sunny weather. Temperatures on Saturday are expected to reach 86 degrees, while Sunday will see a high of 88 degrees. Residents are advised to stay hydrated and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun during peak hours.

Rain is expected to return to the region next week. Starting Tuesday, there is a 35% chance of showers, increasing to 50% on Wednesday. The forecast indicates cooler temperatures, with highs dropping to the mid-80s.
