Dubois County, IN – A traffic stop in Dubois County led to the arrest of an Ohio man wanted for homicide early Monday morning. Alejandro Angulo Ramos, 22, was apprehended at a gas station in Ferdinand.
State Trooper Connor Giesler was patrolling near Ferdinand when he learned that Ramos was driving a 2004 Toyota Corolla. The Indiana State Police and Dubois County Sheriff’s Office immediately launched a search. By 6:30 a.m., officers located Ramos’ vehicle at the gas station.
According to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office, officers observed Ramos, who matched the suspect’s description, exiting an outside restroom. Ramos was arrested without incident and transported to the Dubois County Jail. He is awaiting extradition back to Ohio, where he faces a murder charge.
