Pittsburgh, PA – Dense fog has developed across eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania this morning, creating potentially hazardous driving conditions. The US National Weather Service issued an advisory early this morning, urging motorists to exercise caution on the roads.

According to the National Weather Service, the fog, locally dense in some areas, is a result of a departing low-pressure system. Visibility is expected to improve by 9 a.m. As the fog lifts, the region will see plenty of sunshine with above-normal temperatures and lower humidity. By noon, temperatures will reach the high 70s, peaking in the upper 80s by mid-afternoon.

The 10-day forecast indicates a mix of weather patterns. Monday will see temperatures rise to 91°F under mostly sunny skies. On Tuesday and Wednesday, a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms is expected, with highs in the upper 80s and mid-70s, respectively. By Thursday, the weather will clear, offering partly sunny skies and a high of 82°F. Friday and Saturday will also bring pleasant conditions with highs around 82°F and minimal precipitation.
