Oak Brook, IL – Early this morning, the Oak Brook Fire Department responded to a rollover accident involving a semi-truck near Milepost 29 on Northbound I-294 to I-88 Westbound.
The semi had rolled over the jersey wall, resting on its roof, with one driver trapped inside. Oak Brook Fire initiated life-saving measures and extricated the victim after 50 minutes. One patient was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in stable condition.
Traffic to Westbound I-88 from I-294 was diverted. Multiple fire departments and agencies assisted in the response and vehicle removal.
