On Sunday, the weather takes a turn with increased thunderstorm activity expected. The most significant chance of scattered afternoon storms will be north of I-55, with high temperatures between 79 and 88 degrees. The coolest areas will again be near the lake, with overnight lows between 60 and 66 degrees.
Monday brings the highest likelihood of thunderstorms, with scattered storms and possible downpours. High temperatures will range from 79 to 88 degrees, with increased humidity making it feel warmer. Overnight lows will be between 63 and 70 degrees.
The stormy pattern continues into Tuesday, with a 30 to 50 percent chance of thunderstorms, especially in areas along I-55 and northwest of the city. Highs will be slightly cooler, ranging from 77 to 84 degrees, with overnight temperatures between 63 and 68 degrees.
