The National Weather Service (NWS) in Pittsburgh has indicated that clouds will increase today, with showers and thunderstorms expected to impact the region. This weather system may bring rain and potential thunderstorms to western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, and northern West Virginia.

According to the NWS, the storm system is moving from the northwest, likely causing showers to begin today. Although most of the showers and thunderstorms are expected to stay west of the Pittsburgh area, some may reach eastern Ohio, western Pennsylvania, and northern West Virginia before dissipating.

For the next six days, the forecast includes varying weather conditions:

• Wednesday: 60% chance of rain, with a high of 84°F.

• Thursday: Clear skies and sunny, with a high of 81°F.

In addition, the 6-10 day temperature outlook issued on June 24 predicts above-average temperatures for the region from June 30 to July 4. The 8-14 day temperature outlook for July 2-8 continues this trend, indicating sustained above-average temperatures.
