Cleveland, OH — The remnants of Tropical Storm Debby are moving out of Northern Ohio, bringing a decrease in rain chances throughout this morning. As Debby pulls away to the northeast, a cold front will move in, ushering in much lower humidity by the afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service Cleveland, rain chances will diminish rapidly, with areas like Erie and Meadville still experiencing scattered showers through the morning hours. By noon, most of the precipitation will have cleared the region, leaving behind cooler, more comfortable conditions. Temperatures today are expected to peak in the upper 70s, with lower humidity making for a pleasant afternoon.
Looking ahead, the cooler trend will continue through the weekend. Saturday and Sunday will see highs in the mid-70s under mostly sunny skies. Nights will be notably cooler, with lows dipping into the low 60s, providing a refreshing break from the recent humidity.
Next week, Northern Ohio will experience a gradual warming trend, with temperatures climbing back into the upper 70s to low 80s by Thursday. The extended forecast shows little to no rain, maintaining mostly sunny conditions through the end of the week.
