These showers, with a 10-20% chance of occurring, could produce up to 1/10 of an inch of rain.

According to the National Weather Service in Duluth, a more significant weather event will begin Wednesday night. Light rainfall is anticipated to spread across the Northland, with heavier showers starting Thursday afternoon and continuing into the evening. The forecast indicates a 40-70% chance of at least half an inch of rain by Friday morning. Additionally, some areas, particularly in east-central Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin, have a 20-30% chance of receiving over 1.5 inches of rain.

The rainfall is expected to taper off by Friday, with temperatures remaining cooler in the mid-70s. The weekend looks promising, with sunny skies and highs near 80°F, offering a brief respite from the rain.
