Gaylord, MI – Northern Michigan residents can expect a shift in weather patterns as temperatures trend cooler toward the end of the week. According to the US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are anticipated later Thursday into Friday.
Wednesday’s maximum temperatures will range from 73°F in northern areas like Drummond Island to 81°F in the southern parts such as Frankfort. As the week progresses, cooler temperatures and scattered showers will dominate the forecast, continuing into the weekend.
Thursday will maintain highs around 79°F, but by Friday, temperatures will drop to a high of 71°F. Saturday is expected to be even cooler, with a high of 65°F and a 35% chance of rain. The cool trend will persist into Sunday with a high of 70°F. Early next week, temperatures will slightly rebound, reaching the mid-70s, with sunny skies predicted for Monday and Tuesday.
