Northern Michigan Spring Forecast: Gaylord Gets Tuesday Rain, Then Five Days of Sunny Skies and Chilly Nights

Gaylord, MI – Rain returns to Gaylord on Tuesday, but a dry and sunny pattern is expected to settle in by midweek, along with crisp spring nights dipping to near freezing.

According to the National Weather Service in Gaylord, Monday brings a slight 20% chance of showers between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 59°F. A better chance of scattered showers (30%) arrives late Monday night.

Tuesday features the wettest period of the week, with a 60% chance of rain mainly from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Highs will reach 61°F, with light north winds around 5 mph. By Tuesday night, showers taper off and skies gradually clear, setting the stage for much cooler overnight lows.

By Wednesday night, temperatures could fall to 32°F, raising the possibility of patchy frost in Otsego County and surrounding highlands.
