Another significant weather event is anticipated from Wednesday afternoon into Thursday.
According to the NWS, there is a potential for strong to severe storms, especially on Wednesday and Thursday. These storms may bring locally heavy rainfall and strong winds. Temperatures are expected to remain high throughout the week, with highs ranging from the mid-80s to around 90 degrees.
Today’s forecast indicates a high of 84 degrees with a 70% chance of thunderstorms. Tuesday’s weather is expected to be slightly less volatile, with a high of 86 degrees and mostly sunny skies. However, storm chances increase again on Wednesday, with a 55% chance of thunderstorms and a high of 88 degrees. Thursday will follow a similar pattern, with a high near 89 degrees and continued storm threats.
The latter part of the week, including Friday and Saturday, also shows potential for scattered storms, with highs in the mid-80s. By Sunday, the weather is expected to clear up, providing some respite with sunny skies and temperatures in the low 80s.
