On Thursday, the region faces a higher potential for strong to severe storms, particularly in the afternoon and evening. The NWS has issued a slight risk warning for severe weather, with similar hazards of damaging winds, heavy rainfall, and possible isolated hail. Highs will be between 85 and 89 degrees, with nighttime lows ranging from 68 to 71 degrees.

Looking ahead to Friday, the storm activity is expected to diminish, but there remains a 20-50% chance of showers and thunderstorms, with temperatures cooling slightly to the upper 70s and low 80s.
