Buffalo, NY – A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 3 p.m. Thursday until midnight, bringing up to 4 inches of snow to Northern Erie County.
The NWS warns that snowfall will be heaviest during the evening rush hour, creating slick roads and poor visibility. Residents should plan ahead for delays, particularly in Buffalo and surrounding areas. Temperatures will hover in the mid-20s, with wind chills making it feel even colder.
Snow is expected to taper off by early Friday morning. The weekend forecast shows calmer weather with temperatures reaching the upper 20s and partly cloudy skies.
