Cleveland, Ohio – Northern Ohio faces a soggy weekend as widespread rain showers settle in from late Friday through Sunday evening, with Youngstown and Akron likely to see the heaviest totals.
According to the National Weather Service in Cleveland, the chance of rain jumps to 75–85% across much of the region Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning. In Youngstown, precipitation probabilities peak at 85% between noon and 6 p.m. Saturday, while Akron-Canton will see a similar surge, with an 80% chance of rain in the same window. Rainfall could cause localized ponding and minor flooding in low-lying or poorly drained areas.

Cities like Fremont, Mansfield, and Findlay may see slightly lower totals but will not escape the wet pattern.
