Temperatures tonight will dip into the low 50s, providing residents with a much-needed break from recent heat.

According to the National Weather Service in Raleigh, the dry air will remain in place through Monday, with sunny skies and temperatures rising slightly to a high of 79°F. Lows overnight will again fall into the 50s, offering cool mornings.

As the week progresses, warmer and more humid conditions will gradually return. By Tuesday, highs will climb into the low 80s with clear skies continuing. Humidity will slowly increase by midweek, leading to a potential return of scattered clouds on Wednesday. Thursday’s forecast predicts slightly more cloud cover, but temperatures will still hover around 81°F.

By Friday, warmer air will settle back in, with highs in the mid-70s to low 80s. Although rain chances are low for the week, residents should stay updated for any changes in the forecast as humid conditions intensify.
