Raleigh, NC — Dense fog has settled along and north of US-64 this morning, impacting visibility across the Triad and Triangle regions. Motorists are advised to drive cautiously, as visibility could drop to a quarter mile or less in some areas. The fog is expected to linger until around 9 a.m., at which point conditions should begin to improve.

According to the National Weather Service, the weather will shift later today, with partly cloudy skies and a slight chance of widely isolated showers during the afternoon and early evening. Despite these potential showers, the day will remain pleasant, with temperatures ranging from the low to middle 80s. Lows tonight will be comfortable, dipping into the upper 50s to mid-60s.

The forecast for the rest of the week looks promising, with Thursday and Friday expected to bring clear skies and mild temperatures, reaching the mid-80s. However, there is a 35% chance of showers on Saturday, which may bring some needed rain to the area. Sunday through Tuesday will see continued mild weather, with temperatures hovering in the mid-80s and partly cloudy skies.
