Terre Haute, IN – Lane closures on I-70 eastbound between Terre Haute and Brazil are set to begin Monday night, affecting a four-mile stretch of the highway.
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), the closures will take place nightly from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. Crews will alternate closures in the area between U.S. 40/S.R. 46 and are focused on pavement patching. Work is scheduled to continue through late December, weather permitting.
Officials encourage drivers to remain cautious and avoid distractions while traveling through the affected area. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down in work zones and adhere to posted signage for safety.
The closures may cause delays for commuters and residents traveling between Vigo and Clay counties. Drivers are advised to plan alternative routes or allow extra time for their journeys during the scheduled work hours.
