Newton County, IN – Road Closures Announced for State Road 114 and I-65 Detour

State Road 114 will close between State Road 55 and Curtis Creek Bridge beginning Wednesday, June 5, through mid-July for resurfacing, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation. Local access will be maintained, but through traffic should use alternate routes. The official detour will follow State Road 55, State Road 14, and I-65.

The closure follows ongoing resurfacing between C.R. 200 E and State Road 55. The intersection of State Road 114 and State Road 55 will also reopen to traffic upon completion.
