New York Woman Arrested at Circus for Gun Found in Diaper Bag

Buffalo, NY – In a startling discovery at the KeyBank Center, a New York woman was taken into custody for possession of a firearm detected by x-ray during a circus event. 

According to Erie County Sheriff’s Office reports the woman detailed was later identified as Tenitia R. Cullum, 32, of Rochester, arrested on March 23rd at the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey show after a security scan revealed a .22 caliber handgun inside her diaper bag. 

Cullum, who reportedly lacked a pistol permit, faces a second-degree criminal possession of a weapon charge and is being held for arraignment. The effective security measures of the KeyBank Center staff were commended by Sheriff John C. Garcia, acknowledging their crucial assistance in the investigation.
