Buffalo, NY — Snowfall and freezing temperatures continue to affect the Buffalo area, with a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 10 a.m. Sunday. Roads remain snow-covered and slippery, making travel hazardous across Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Genesee, Wyoming, and Livingston counties.

According to the National Weather Service Buffalo, an additional inch of snow is expected overnight, with gusty winds reducing visibility. Drivers should slow down and use caution, especially on highways like Interstate 90 and Route 33.

Sunday will bring lingering snow showers in the morning, followed by mostly cloudy skies with a high near 30°F. Winds will remain strong at 16-26 mph, causing drifting snow and icy patches.

Looking ahead, Monday will be partly sunny with a high of 24°F, but another storm system could bring snow and mixed precipitation Wednesday into Thursday. The exact track remains uncertain, but significant snowfall is possible.

Residents should monitor weather updates and prepare for changing conditions midweek. Keep extra supplies in your vehicle and avoid unnecessary travel during heavy snow periods.
