According to the National Weather Service (NWS) Albany, up to 2 inches of snow and sleet are expected, with localized totals of 4 inches in the Adirondacks and southern Vermont. Ice accumulations could range from a light coating up to two-tenths of an inch, making roads slick. Wind gusts may reach 35 mph, further reducing visibility and making travel hazardous.
The affected areas include Northern Litchfield County (CT), the Berkshires (MA), the southern and western Adirondacks, the Lake George-Saratoga Region, the Mohawk and Schoharie Valleys, and the eastern Catskills.
