New York Forecast: Albany to See Warm and Humid Weather with Thunderstorms

Albany, NY – The forecast for Albany predicts a mix of warm, humid conditions with occasional thunderstorms throughout the week. Today’s high is expected to reach 90°F with mainly cloudy skies and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service, southern areas will see morning showers and thunderstorms, while the rest of the region can expect isolated storms later in the day. Despite these storms, there will be periods of sunshine in between.

Looking ahead to the week, Sunday is predicted to be sunny with a high of 91°F, offering a brief respite from the thunderstorms. However, the stormy weather will return on Monday and Tuesday with highs of 89°F and 91°F, respectively, and a 30% chance of rain on Monday increasing to 35% on Tuesday.

Wednesday continues the trend with a 45% chance of showers and a high of 85°F. The latter part of the week shows a slight cooling trend, with Thursday’s high at 80°F under partly cloudy skies and Friday at 81°F with mostly sunny conditions.
