Albuquerque, NM – A winter storm warning remains in effect for the Sangre de Cristo and Tusas Mountains, including Chama, from 5 a.m. Wednesday until 11 p.m. Thursday, with heavy snowfall expected to impact travel and outdoor activities.

According to the National Weather Service in Albuquerque, total snow accumulations will range from 5 to 10 inches, with up to 12 inches possible at higher elevations. Hazardous road conditions are likely, and travel could be very difficult to impossible in some areas.
