According to the National Weather Service (NWS), high clouds will increase late Wednesday and persist through Thursday night. Winds from the southwest are expected to strengthen Friday, with gusts exceeding 40 mph in some areas. The most affected zones include regions near I-40 and eastern slopes of the Sandia and Manzano Mountains. Drivers should remain cautious, especially those in high-profile vehicles.
