New Jersey – Residents in New Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania can expect sunny skies this weekend, with temperatures topping near 66°F. However, there’s an increased risk of fire spread Friday due to low humidity and gusty winds. The National Weather Service (NWS) warns that outdoor burning should be avoided to prevent accidental ignitions.

According to the NWS in Mount Holly, low relative humidity values, combined with wind gusts of 10-15 mph, are driving the heightened fire risk today. Temperatures across the region are expected to reach the mid-60s. Areas near the Delaware beaches, including Rehoboth and Cape May, could see highs of 65°F, while Philadelphia and surrounding counties will also reach similar temperatures.

Looking ahead, Saturday’s weather offers a respite from the fire risk, with sunny skies and highs reaching 68°F. Cooler evening temperatures will dip into the low 40s across the region, making for pleasant overnight conditions. Winds are expected to calm, ensuring a perfect start to the weekend.

Sunday brings slightly cooler temperatures, with a high near 60°F and calm winds. Trick-or-treaters gearing up for Halloween on Thursday can expect ideal weather, with highs climbing to 75°F. Monday and Tuesday will also feature sunny skies, with highs in the low to mid-60s.
