According to the New Jersey State Police Marine Services Bureau, the thefts targeted fishing gear and boating equipment from multiple marinas, including Stone Harbor Marina, Light House Point Marina, Schooner Island Marina, Off the Hook Bait and Tackle Marina, Saltwater Outpost, and Two Mile Landing Marina.

Investigators said the suspects were captured on surveillance cameras removing items from boats before fleeing the scenes. Images released by authorities show individuals dressed in dark clothing and carrying bags of what appears to be stolen equipment.
