New Hampshire – Cold rain streaks across windshields this morning in Manchester, with slick pavement already slowing traffic along I-93 and Route 101. Visibility drops in passing showers, and drivers are tapping brakes earlier on wet roads.

According to the National Weather Service, a 50% chance of showers continues through the afternoon, with rainfall totals between 0.10 and 0.25 inches possible. Temperatures climb only to 46°F, keeping the air raw and damp across Hillsborough County.

Showers begin to ease later today, but roads stay wet into the evening commute. Plan extra time if heading through Manchester, Nashua, or Concord. Conditions may look improved, but pavement remains slick well after the rain ends.

Temperatures fall to around 37°F tonight, with a slight chance of lingering showers. While widespread icing is not expected, bridges and elevated surfaces could turn slick in isolated spots if skies partially clear.

A noticeable shift arrives Thursday. Skies brighten, and highs reach 57°F with increasing northwest winds gusting up to 25 mph. That breeze may impact high-profile vehicles, especially along open stretches of I-93.

Friday continues the recovery with sunshine and highs near 56°F. The weekend stays quiet and seasonable, with mostly sunny skies Saturday near 57°F and a mix of sun and clouds Sunday around 58°F.

Even with the improving trend, cool nights in the low to mid-30s keep a low-end risk for patchy slick spots where moisture lingers.
