
Sullivan, NH – A New Hampshire State Trooper sustained minor injuries after her cruiser rolled during a high-speed chase on Thursday.
Trooper Margaret Carey was pursuing a reckless driver reported by the Keene Police Department along Route 9. Carey spotted the speeding vehicle at around 1 a.m. and activated her lights and siren. Carey turned around to pursue the driver westbound through Sullivan.
While attempting to negotiate a curve just west of Centre Street, Carey lost control of her cruiser, causing it to roll over. Despite the crash, she was able to exit the vehicle without assistance. No other vehicles were involved.
According to the New Hampshire State Police, the driver was later located by Keene officers, who initiated another pursuit. The suspect crashed the vehicle in Keene and was arrested. Trooper Carey was treated for minor injuries but did not require hospitalization.
This incident remains under investigation.
